About Bouzeron Wines

Bouzeron is the only village appellation in Burgundy dedicated to Aligote. Long treated as a lesser grape, Aligote finds real class here: taut, citrusy whites with a saline edge that pairs beautifully with shellfish.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Aligote?

Burgundy's other white grape, historically the base of the kir cocktail. In Bouzeron it stands proudly on its own.

How does Bouzeron compare to white Burgundy?

It is leaner and more mineral than Chardonnay, and a smart pick within the Cote Chalonnaise.

Do you buy Bouzeron?
