Vouvray is Chenin Blanc territory, and few white grapes shift shape so dramatically. Depending on the vintage and the maker, a Vouvray can arrive bone dry, off-dry, sparkling or lusciously sweet, all from Chenin Blanc grown on tuffeau limestone.
