Harbison Vineyard lies on the eastern side of Oakville, between Screaming Eagle and Tench, and Bevan Cellars turns its fruit into one of the most coveted Cabernet Sauvignons in its portfolio. The 2019, from a superb, balanced Napa Valley vintage, earned 99 points from Wine Advocate, which described a full-bodied, almost creamy wine of black cherry and blackberry with loamy earth, suede, mocha and dark chocolate. Vinous praised its marriage of textural opulence and vibrancy, with crushed red berries, iron, rose petal and mint, and urged readers, "Don't miss it." Plush enough to enjoy now, it should keep developing through the late 2030s.
