Bevan Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Sage Ridge Vineyard Saint Helena 2018 750ml

Russell Bevan built Bevan Cellars into one of Napa Valley's cult names by working with exceptional vineyard sites, and Sage Ridge Vineyard in St. Helena yields one of his most distinctive Cabernet Sauvignons. The great 2018 vintage gave this wine striking clarity: Jeb Dunnuck highlighted its "incredible purity of fruit," while Vinous found it "so full of character." Expect smoked blue and black fruits, black cherry, crushed rocks, sage, bay leaf, graphite, flowers and dark cocoa on a full-bodied, silky palate with ripe, polished tannins and a long finish. Beautiful now with a decant, it has the structure to age gracefully for another 15 to 20 years.
