Chateau Fuisse Pouilly Fuisse Le Clos 2019 750ml

Château de Fuissé has been run by the Vincent family for generations and is one of the reference estates of Pouilly-Fuissé in Burgundy's Mâconnais. Le Clos is its walled vineyard right beside the château, a limestone-rich site that yields the estate's most complete and age-worthy Chardonnay. The 2019 vintage was warm and sunny, producing ripe, generous whites that still kept good tension and freshness. Expect yellow orchard fruit, citrus and a touch of hazelnut and toasty oak, with a creamy texture and a long, mineral finish. Seriously built for a Mâconnais white, it is drinking well now and should continue to develop through the early 2030s.
