Cirq Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2018 750ml

Cirq is the small-production Russian River Valley Pinot Noir label of Michael Browne, co-founder of Kosta Browne. The 2018 growing season was long, mild and even across Sonoma County, and it produced a deep, almost opaque Pinot with ripe black raspberry, red currant, roasted herbs, loamy earth and sandalwood. Rich, nearly full-bodied and beautifully textured, it carries silky, polished tannins and real intensity without heaviness. Jeb Dunnuck called it "another rock star of a Pinot Noir" from Browne. Delicious now, it should keep drinking well through about 2028, and likely longer for those who prefer more savory, developed Pinot.
