Cirq Treehouse Vineyard Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2012 750ml

Cirq is a small Russian River Valley Pinot Noir project from the team behind Kosta Browne, and its Treehouse Vineyard sits around 750 feet up on iron-rich red soils. The 2012 came from a generous, even growing season that is remembered as one of Sonoma's best Pinot Noir vintages. Spiced red and black fruits, rose petal, cassis, incense, dried flowers and candied orange peel lead to a rich, layered palate with sweet fruit, integrated acidity and no hard edges. Vinous noted its striking depth and bright veins of acidity, and Jeb Dunnuck praised its "killer finish." Now fully mature, it is drinking beautifully and should hold for a few more years.
