Cirq Treehouse Vineyard Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2016 750ml

Cirq is the passion project of Michael Browne, co-founder of Kosta Browne, who named it as a nod to his early years performing in the circus. The Treehouse Vineyard in the Russian River Valley is one of the label's signature sites, producing Pinot Noir of depth and structure. The 2016 vintage, the last of California's recent drought years, brought an early budbreak and small, concentrated berries. This bottling leans toward a fresher, more focused style, with black cherry, mulberry, iron, forest floor and spring flower notes on a medium- to full-bodied palate with noticeable structure and tannin. Drinking well now, it should continue to evolve for several more years.
