Domaine Louis Carillon et Fils Puligny Montrachet Les Perrieres 1er Cru 2007 750ml

Domaine Louis Carillon et Fils was a reference point for classic Puligny-Montrachet until the estate was divided between brothers Jacques and François after 2009, making these older bottlings increasingly scarce. Les Perrières, a stony premier cru, is often considered its finest site. John Gilman called the 2007 "a simply classic example of this fine premier cru," noting lemon, green apple, tangerine, lemon blossom and a deep base of stony minerality. Full-bodied and crisp, with laser-like focus and great length, it was built for aging. Now well into maturity, it is best enjoyed over the next few years.
