Made with no new oak, the 2017 captures the charm of the vintage: precise, fresh and floral, with a sweet core of raspberry and wild strawberry. Wine Advocate described a deep bouquet of red berries, plums and cassis with sweet soil tones, orange rind and peony, while Decanter praised its "plenty of precision and freshness." The supple, open-knit 2017 Burgundies are lovely young, yet this grand cru Pinot Noir has the structure and depth to drink well into the late 2030s.
