Futo OVSL Estate Red Napa Valley 2013 750ml

Ten years on, the 2013 OV/SL has proven itself one of the most graceful wines from Tom Futo's Napa Valley estate. At the time it blended fruit from both of Futo's properties, in Oakville and the Stags Leap District, hence the name. 2013 was a warm, consistent Napa vintage that produced ripe yet beautifully balanced Cabernet-based wines. James Suckling admired its precise tannin structure, calling it "classic in every sense of the word." Revisiting it in 2024, Vinous found it had aged impeccably, with crushed flowers, mint, dark red fruit, blood orange and a touch of French oak. Drink now through the mid-2030s.
