Kistler Pinot Noir Cuvee Natalie Silver Belt Vineyard Sonoma Coast 2019 750ml

Kistler Vineyards built its reputation on Burgundian-style Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from cool Sonoma sites, and the Cuvée Natalie comes from the Silver Belt Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast. The 2019 draws on Calera and Swan clones grown in a cooler pocket, giving a more aromatic, layered style than the estate's broader Pinot Noirs. Wild strawberry and cherry fruit mingle with forest floor, incense, sandalwood and a hint of blood orange over a medium-bodied frame with beautifully fine tannins. Jeb Dunnuck said it ranks "with the finest in California and France," and Wine Advocate praised its balance of red fruit, spice and mineral tones. Lovely now, it should drink well into the early 2030s.
