Kistler Pinot Noir Laguna Ridge Vineyard Russian River Valley 2019 750ml

Kistler Vineyards, founded by Steve Kistler in 1978, built its reputation on single-vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Sonoma's coolest corners. Laguna Ridge Vineyard in the Russian River Valley is one of its signature Pinot Noir sites, and the 2019 drew top marks across the board from Wine Advocate, James Suckling and Jeb Dunnuck. Suckling noted dried strawberries and an earthy, mineral character that "goes on for minutes." Wine Advocate described boysenberry, raspberry, bergamot, dried flowers and aniseed on a super silky, medium-bodied palate bursting with sweet fruit. Already superb, it should be at its best from 2026 and drink well into the mid-2030s.
