Kistler Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2018 750ml

The 2018 vintage was a gift for Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir: a long, mild season with no major heat spikes let grapes ripen slowly and keep their acidity. Kistler, founded by Steve Kistler and long ranked among California's elite Chardonnay and Pinot Noir producers, made this bottling under Jason Kesner, who trained alongside Kistler for eight years before becoming winemaker in 2017. Much of the fruit comes from vineyards the winery farms itself across the cool Sonoma Coast. Look for a silky, elegant Pinot Noir with red berry fruit, gentle spice and earthy depth.
