Kosta Browne helped define the modern style of California Pinot Noir, and its single-vineyard bottlings from the Russian River Valley are among its most sought-after wines. The 2020 Bootlegger's Hill earned 98 points from Wine Enthusiast, which called it "Russian River Pinot at the highest level." Expect plush kirsch and black cherry fruit with forest herbs, potpourri, sage and turned earth, carried by velvety tannins, savory richness and fresh acidity, with a touch of toasted cedar on the finish. Offered in magnum, a format that should help it age gracefully. Enjoy now through the early 2030s.
