Latour 2015 750ml

Low stock! Only 6 left

Château Latour, the Pauillac first growth renowned for its powerful, long-lived Cabernet Sauvignon, stopped selling en primeur after the 2011 vintage and now releases its wines only when it judges them ready to drink. The 2015 comes from an outstanding Left Bank vintage and has drawn praise across the board, including 98 points from Decanter, Jane Anson, Jeb Dunnuck, James Suckling, The Wine Independent and Vinous. Decanter highlighted its perfume of tobacco, cocoa, ash and liquorice, while Wine Enthusiast noted great concentration and "dense, dusty tannins that are never hard." Expect crushed raspberry, pomegranate and blackcurrant on a seamless, structured frame. Approachable with decanting, it will age for decades.
