Morey-Coffinet is a family domaine in Chassagne-Montrachet with holdings across several of the village's top premier cru vineyards. En Cailleret is widely counted among the very best of them, a stony, limestone-rich site that gives Chardonnay of precision, mineral cut and real depth. 2022 was a warm, sunny and generous vintage in the Côte de Beaune, yet the best white Burgundies kept lovely freshness alongside their ripe fruit. Expect white peach, citrus, orchard fruit and hazelnut over a chalky, saline core with fine length. This 1.5-liter magnum will age more slowly and gracefully than a standard bottle; give it a few years and enjoy it over the next decade or more.
