Opus One Napa Valley 2018 750ml

The 2018 growing season was long, cool and even, one of the most ideal in recent Napa memory, and Opus One produced a near-perfect wine. It earned 99 points from both International Wine Review and James Suckling, plus 98 from Decanter and Wine Advocate. IWR called it "nothing short of fantastic in this vintage." Aromas of crushed blackberry, currant and blueberry mingle with florals, dark chocolate, graphite and herbs. The palate is elegant rather than heavy, with beautifully polished tannins and a long, graceful finish. The blend is 84% Cabernet Sauvignon. Beautiful now and built for 20-plus years.
