Peju is a family-owned winery in Napa Valley's Rutherford district, founded in 1983 when Tony Peju bought a gravelly vineyard he named H.B. Vineyard in honor of his wife, Herta. The family has since built a reputation for generous, polished Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. The Barrel EXP bottling is a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2021 vintage was a dry year that produced a small crop of small, intensely flavored berries, and Napa winemakers widely regard it as one of the finest recent vintages for concentration and balance.
