Tantara Winery is a Santa Barbara County producer specializing in single-vineyard Pinot Noir from top Central Coast sites. Radian Vineyard sits on the far western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills, close to the Pacific, where cold winds and fog create one of California's most extreme climates for Pinot Noir. Fruit from Radian is known for intensity, dark fruit, savory spice and firm, mineral-driven structure. 2013 was a warm, dry drought-era vintage that produced concentrated, ripe Pinots across the region. Expect black cherry, raspberry and earthy spice on a firm frame. Now more than a decade old, it is best enjoyed over the next few years.
