Vice Versa is a small Napa Valley Cabernet house with an estate vineyard in Calistoga, and its Mysterons bottling draws primarily on the Ecotone Vineyard. The 2021 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a vintage widely hailed as one of Napa's finest, and Jeb Dunnuck rated it 98 points, calling it "classic, quintessential 2021 Napa Valley magic." He described red and black fruit with iron, graphite and violet notes, obvious minerality and a stacked mid-palate. Wine Advocate highlighted menthol, sage, black cherries and blueberries with a full-bodied, velvety texture. Give it five or more years in the cellar; it should age gracefully for two decades.
